Beyoncè and JAY-Z Gives $1Million in Scholarships

Beyoncè and Jay-z hands out scholarships to students from On The Run II Tour Cities.

The scholarship will provide $100,000 to “one exceptional senior high school student, with financial needs” to use toward their college education, according to the press release. In order  for you to be eligible to enter, each student will have to “demonstrate academic excellence and show financial needs that would make it hard for them to enter a college or university for the academic year 2018-2019.”

The seniors must be in one of the cities in the U.S. where the On The Run Tour II, is heading next as well. This includes Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Arlington, New Orleans, Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Clara, and Seattle. The Boys and Girls Club of America in the coinciding city will decide on the winner who gets the $100,000 in their city. With eleven cities, Bey and Jay will give out a total of $1.1 million.
