Document Filed To Place 6ix9ine Behind Bars

The Manhattan DA files a document to place 6ix9ine in prison for up to 3 years.

The Manhattan District Attorney believes 6ix9ine should be in prison. According to The Blast, the DA for New York County has filed a document which could put Tekashi behind bars for one to three years.

The document is connected to a case where 6ix9ine pleaded guilty to using a child in a sexual performance. To avoid prison time, Tekashi accepted a deal, but the DA is now claiming the plea deal that 6ix9ine reached has been violated twice, this past May in New York and July in Texas.

“Defendant’s acknowledged membership in a violent Bloods set known as 9 Trey Bloods, along with an incident of gun violence perpetrated by this defendant’s entourage, make him an inappropriate candidate for adjudication as a Youthful Offender,” the Assistant DA SaravWeiss wrote in a letter.

Weiss noted that 6ix9ine was not to be associated with new crimes, but also his “own failure to obtained a GED, and his numerous requests for additional time to do so, that resulted in multiple adjournments and caused a lengthy delay in the sentencing date.”

6ix9ine was due in court today (Oct. 3) but will be set for a different date.
